So I’m back from Hainan. Not much to say, it was beautiful and everything, and I got a little more tan.
In more exciting news, I am in the hunt as a Sony fanboy.
First up, is a PS3. I want to play FFXIV when it comes out!
Next, when we went to Hainan, I figured out how much my Sony CyberShot DSC-M1 sucked. Which means a new camera. Not a PNS, no. I want a full DSLR. Which means an Alpha. The cheapest Alpha, goes for about $600.
Maybe when I get a (real) job, I can try and get a Sony OLED. This is a big maybe. Also, this is more of a dream of mine, for when I get my own house.
If my Eeepc dies on me, I’d seriously consider getting a Sony P-series. Let’s hope this doesn’t happen.
I was originally thinking of getting a Zune, but the new X series Walkman players changed my mind. It’s exactly the kind of replacement I was looking for, for my old NW-A3000. Boasts similar battery life (33 hours compared to my 40), and a bigger HDD (32 GB flash vs 20 GB HDD).
Since the Kindle is so popular, I might as well rekindle my earlier love of reading with the Reader. I don’t really think I would need it, though. I’d probably just read stuff on my computer anyway.
I was going to get a mylo, but I might as well wait…doesn’t seem like the most ingenious of devices, mostly because it requires a Wi-Fi connection…which might have been useful, if we had Wi-Max, but we don’t.
The VAIO LV series seems like a good buy. I don’t really have anything to say about it, other than I’d rather get an RT, but they’re not wall-mountable.
Ahh, the Sony CyberShot T1. It was such a good camera when it first came out. The T900 is something I’d consider letting my gf use. I’m not letting her get her tiny hands on my DSLR-A230.
These digital photo frames are growing on me. Ever since I got Google Desktop Sidebar, and actually use the Photos widget…
I actually tried the PFRV1 last year. It was a really weird experience, and the headphones were actually pretty heavy. I wouldn’t recommend them, unless you were going to listen to orchestral music, but then again, why not go to an actual concert? In all seriousness though, the MDRV-500DJ’s look better, but iirc, the MDR-V300′s are actually better in terms of sound quality.
Ahh, the Xperia X1. Since I’ve been wanting an Android phone for a while now, it seems like the newest Xperia will be perfect!
But the best? The one I’m definitely going to get. PSP-Go. October 1st. Mark your calendars!
